Dear rock and mineral explorers,
Today we are going to start our super cool adventure - diving into the fantastic world of rocks and minerals, and searching for nature's awesome treasures! Just like Lego, rocks are our Earth's building blocks, making big mountains and shaping the land we see. They are mostly made from two or more minerals that are mixed up through geological processes, which gives each rock its own special power and unique colors. From raw rocks to sparkly crystals, these incredible things are like Earth's secret puzzle, telling us stories about ancient times, and making our planet the coolest place ever! A smooth, round pebble I found by a river, might have travelled miles and miles, shaped by the water's journey. Isn't that awesome?
