After a severe car accident and living with extreme lifelong

nerve pain as a result, I started to ask if there was more to

this life then being successful in the 9 to 5 world I'd been

taught to strive for. I began to doubt almost everything I'd

been taught as a kid. Mostly, I just wanted to know what this

crazy life is all about and is there more; what am I missing?

Is there more to this life than being born, getting an

education, playing sports, finding friends, getting a job so I

can eat and live indoors and grow old with a spouse, then

retire and die of old age? Is that it? Is that all there is to it? If

there was nothing more to this life than raising kids to be

good citizens and living in the 9 to 5 rat-race I'd been taught,

I didn't want to continue in this life. Because of my severe pain, I was ready to end it.

Is there a greater purpose to this life, or are the Atheists right in saying we are just animated dust? I did not want to live with my severe nerve pain unless there was a purpose for being here; more than the standard schooling, work, retire and die!

Whether you have decided there is an eternity to be concerned with or not, you have made your decision. The question is, have you made the right decision based on absolute truth; outside of any humans determination of what they believe the "truth" really is; or are you just believing the information you've allowed to be programmed into your mine without questioning it?

Have you been told the truth? Is there more? Does it really even matter? You have to decide for yourself, or it will be decided for you. Either way, ultimately, like it or not, the truth will win!
