Rate your recent book purchases - book, eBook, audio book, or eReader - and write a review of 115 words or more (up to a maximum of 350 words) to be automatically entered. Our panel of judges will choose the best three reviews to receive the $100 Gift Voucher.

Review To Win: Terms & Conditions

1. By reviewing a Booktopia product with 115 words or more, all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. Any violation of these Terms and Conditions may result in disqualification.  2. To enter the Competition, eligible entrants must, during the Promotion Period: - Go to booktopia.com.au - Submit a Rating/Review of 115 words or more (up to a maximum of 350 words) about a book (book, audio book or e-book) or eReader currently sold by Booktopia and purchased by the Reviewer from Booktopia; and - register their e-mail address.
2. The Competition commences at 9:00am Australian East Standard Time (AEST) on the first day of each month from 1st July 2019, and ends at 11:59pm AEST on the final day of said month (Promotion Period). Entries submitted and received by the Promoter after this time will not be accepted. The time of entry will in each case be the time which the online entry is publicly listed on booktopia.com.au, not the time of transmission by the entrant.
3. Booktopia accepts no responsibility for any incorrect, incomplete, lost, late or misdirected entries.
4. This competition is open to Australian or New Zealand residents over the age of 18.
5. Employees and contractors (and their immediate families) of Booktopia (ABN 24 096 845 126) are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following (whether natural, step or adopted): spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child, parent, grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, sibling or first cousin.
6. Entrants may enter the Competition multiple times during the Promotion Period. Each entry must be a unique Rating/Review about a product currently sold by Booktopia.
7. This competition is a game of skill and entrants are required to demonstrate skill, talent, creativity and/or imagination in their answer in order to compete. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be judged based upon creative merit. All entries must be an independent creation by the entrant and must not have been published elsewhere or used to win prizes in any other competitions. All entries must comply with the review terms of submission.
8. The winner will be determined by a judging panel at the offices of Booktopia, located at 3-29 Birnie Ave, Lidcombe NSW 2141 on the on the second Wednesday of each month. The judges’ decision is final.
9. Booktopia reserves the right, at its discretion, to draw additional valid reserve entries and record them in order in the case of an invalid entry or where an ineligible entrant is drawn.
10. The winner will be notified by email. The winner’s name and the winning entry may be published on the Promoter’s Instagram, Twitter, Facebook or website platforms, and in any other Promotional Material the Promoter deems relevant. Entrants consent to their details and entry being published in these circumstances.
11. The prize will be delivered to the email address provided by the entrant with the winning review. Booktopia is not responsible if the prize is lost in cyberspace or otherwise not received. The prize must be claimed within 21 days of being notified of winning. If a winner does not claim their prize within the prescribed time, then they will forfeit their prize and the prize will be awarded to the next eligible entry submitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
12. The total prize pool value for this Competition is AUD $300 (inclusive of GST). Each winner will receive a digital Booktopia Gift Certificate valued at AUD $100 (inclusive of GST) that is redeemable on booktopia.com.au. There will be three (3) winners each month.
13. It is a condition of accepting the prizes that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements.
14. Booktopia is not responsible for any costs incurred as a result of claiming the prize.
15. The prize is non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash. Any attempt to resell or auction all or any part of this prize will result in an immediate cancellation of the prize. Prizes must be taken as offered.
16. Booktopia shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, in connection with the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by laws.
17.  Entrants agree that they are fully responsible for the entry which they submit, including any entry content (such as text, images, photos and videos) and any accompanying comments (Submission). Booktopia shall not be liable in any way for such Submission to the fullest extent permitted by law. Booktopia may remove any Submission without notice for any reason whatsoever.
18.  Entrants consent to Booktopia using the entrant's name, likeness and review in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purposes of promoting this Competition (including any outcome).
19. The entrant agrees that by entering into this Competition, the entrant consents to the terms of Booktopia's Privacy Policy, which can be assessed by visiting https://www.booktopia.com.au/helpCentre.ep?p=policies&o=privacy#
20. Booktopia assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries or any other event beyond its control and, in these circumstances, Booktopia may, at its absolute discretion, cancel the Competition (without liability) and, if it elects to do so, recommence it from the start on the same conditions.
21. Booktopia reserves the right to pause or end this competition at any time for any reason. Such an event will be noted on Booktopia website page here. Booktopia reserves the right to change or alter these Terms & Conditions at any time. Such changes will become effective once published here.
