Profile drafting is a key tool for handweavers but many do not understand how profile drafting works. Some older weaving books (and out of print) have a small chapter on profile drafting that is brief and frankly, not always very clear. There is not an entire book dedicated to profile drafting, how it works, and how one profile draft can be translated into multiple weave structures.
