An Ancient Peace

The centuries-long war between the Confederation and The Others, a group of violent alien species, is over. Intergalactic peace is finally restored. Torin Kerr and her crew of ex-Marine friends have gone freelance - using their military experience as guns for hire. But this calm equilibrium cannot last.

Someone is searching for the lost weapons of the H'san: powerful tools capable of destroying entire planets. Tanya Sue Huff (born 1957) is a prolific Canadian fantasy author of over 25 novels. Her stories have been published since the late 1980s, including five fantasy series and one science fiction series. One of these, the Blood Books series, featuring detective Vicki Nelson, was adapted for television under the title Blood Ties.
