The Hammer of Destiny

Artorius and his team lead a new Rome in rewriting history and changing the destiny of the world.

The threads of destiny intertwine and know in ways no one could have foreseen, least of all the Artorious and his misfit gang of academics.

Artorius and his team have made huge strides to change the history that led to their fleeing the future moments before nuclear Armageddon, but the Chinese mission sent back through time is marshalling mighty China to resist Rome. The results of technical innovation and fierce battles ripple across the ancient world from Persia to the subcontinent and beyond. Rome has won some early victories, not least of which is the defection of Black Jade, a Chinese academic disillusioned with the goals of her government—but there is still so much to fight for.

With their own presence exposed, Artorius and his people must navigate the treacherous waters of courtly assassins, technological change, and varied cultures in a world caught between two colossal powers. Alliances forged under the hammer of destiny will be tested in the final battle between ancient powers and time traveling meddlers.
