About the Author

Jennifer Wagh is a debut author from Sleepy Hollow, Illinois. She lives with her husband, three kids, and a leopard gecko named Bibi. As a former preschool teacher, she loves to enthusiastically read picture books aloud. She is currently learning to play the ukulele.

About the Illustrator

Hallie Bateman is a freelance writer and illustrator based in Los Angeles. Her work has been published by The New Yorker, The New York Times Magazine, The Awl, and others. She is the author of Brave New Work, What to Do When I’m Gone, and Directions.
