Road Trip

Buckle up for another hilarious year with the MacPherson family! This Baby Blues collection includes all of the 2024 daily and Sunday comic strips by award-winning duo Rick Kirkman and Jerry Scott.

The family that vacations together stays together—assuming everyone survives the drive. In Road Trip, the 42nd Baby Blues collection, Rick Kirkman and Jerry Scott return to the MacPherson household for another round of wonderfully familiar parental chaos. Darryl and Wanda are still raising Zoe, Hammie, and Wren, which means every ordinary task has the potential to become a full-scale logistical emergency.

And then there is summer. The MacPhersons debate whether to take a family vacation in the first place, while the kids demonstrate why “lifelong memories” may involve arguing in whatever vehicle gets them there.

From inflatable backyard pools and water-balloon fights to summer reading, yard sales, shopping excursions, and the looming return to school, Kirkman and Scott find humor in the way parents dream of creating magical childhood experiences while children remain resolutely committed to behaving like children.

Mixing black-and-white daily strips with full-color Sunday comics, Road Trip is a warm, fast-paced collection for parents, grandparents, longtime Baby Blues readers, and anyone who has ever discovered that family life is funniest about five minutes after the crisis is over.

• The popular Baby Blues comic strip series captures the ups and downs of family life with a perfect blend of humor and heart
• With alternating classic black-and-white newspaper-strip pages and larger full-color Sunday features, this is an especially satisfying collection for longtime fans or new readers.

Load the minivan, pack the snacks, separate the siblings, and take a very funny trip through another year in the life of the MacPherson family.
