Cardiff, 1972:
A series of killings holds the city in fear. Six bodies have been discovered, posed, around the city – and each corpse consists of a decapitated body with a different head sewn on.

Founded by Wales scrum half Wyn Davies, the team comprises forensic scientist Lydia Beynon; ex-Gwent Constabulary Dave Hopkins; and the digital team of twins Ariadne and Osian Thomas.

Anna Edwards, their newest recruit, arrives as the Domino Man case is re-opened. Anna is starting her life afresh, having escaped from a coercively controlling husband.
