Years ago, a mad man released a scourge on the earth that left millions dead, and millions more infected with a rotten magic that quickly turned the world into a post-apocalyptic war zone.
Countries and governments have fallen. Dystopia has taken control as zealots, overlords, and the rogue tyrant have tried to fill the shoes of the man who fancied himself a king.
So, where do I come in? I'm the son of that mad man. Yeah, the idiot who pretty much destroyed the world raised me, if you can call it that. It would be fitting that my face, along with the face of the few other good guys, would be plastered around the world and blamed for this mess.
I mean, I was also the one to kill him in the end, but that's hardly deserving of the manhunt that has officially tracked us down.
We have been found, and they aren't trying to take us alive. Except it's not the UN like we thought, it's something worse, and these freaks don't seem to care that they are about to unleash a bomb.
A bomb in the form of a kid with a terrifying temper, the last remaining wielder of fire magic, and a reluctant King.
