It's summer and the promise of a much needed, long overdue road trip with his big brother awaits Peter. But when his best friend Jason runs away from home, that trip is cut short by another promise, urgent and pressing— the Conspirators' Club promise. "If one of us is in trouble, we all show up."

A call to action has gone out, and it's time to bring back one of their own.

The Conspirators track Jason to a cosplay village, back with his adoptive father who is fresh out of jail and anxious to resume his life of pickpocketing and petty theft. Jason's already under his father's influence, even if he won't admit it. Really, all he has to do is complete one easy heist with his dad, and his life will return to normal. If only his friends will help him.

But all is not as it seems. Danger lies ahead. If it finds them, no one will get out of this alive.

Will the Conspirators succeed in extracting Jason from his new life, or is this the end of the road for them?
