The focus has shifted to the destruction of food supplies and disruption of food production and distribution, to control access to healthy food, fresh air, and clean water.
The stage is set for the divergence of the species, with the creation of the Eloi and the Morlocks. Eloi on the surface to fend for themselves, while the entitled go underground to hide from the sun and the vagaries of nature, and the extermination decrees from the Galactic Federation.
