The accumulation of plastics in coastal area is continuously increasing. We produce more and more amounts of garbage daily. Single use plastics or disposable plastics are accumulated in the marine environments. Single use plastics are effects our marine ecosystems. Single use plastics particles are broken down to produce smaller and smaller plastics particles. These small sized particles are called microplastics.

The ninth chapter gives some ocean organizations and ocean institutes.
