Vladimir Nodelman began teaching mathematics at school in 1970 shortly before graduating from the Belarusian State University (MSc in mathematics). He received a doctorate in mathematics education from the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the USSR. For many years, the author is a faculty member of the Department of Computer Science of the School of Computer Science at the Holon Institute of Technology. The main area of his scientific research remains unchanged — the ways of teaching mathematics using educational software. The results of these studies and many of the book's ideas were published in articles and reported at numerous international conferences.
