Mae and Malibu make a great team. Malibu, a service dog, keeps Mae safe when seizures approach, and Mae knows all of Malibu's favorite snacks. Now that Mae is adopting Malibu, new adventures and challenges await them in this chapter book series.

Mae is ready for her first day of school! With her service dog and BFF, Malibu, by her side, nothing can go wrong! Right? Mae has always been homeschooled, and on her first day of in-person school at Wild Shores Learning Center, she realizes that she has a lot to learn. How is she supposed to find her classroom on time, raise her hand when she has an idea, and make it through an entire class without a snack? And all her classmates want to play with Malibu, even when he's in work mode. Will Mae and Malibu make it through their first day of third grade?
