The Nobles are a happy, well-adjusted familythat is, until six numbers change everything.
Ed wins $88 million after taxes in a lottery. The family decides theyll use the money sensibly and not blow it all as so many winners have; in fact, they set up a committee of experts to assist them in managing the money wisely. But in spite of their best efforts to avoid the pitfalls that bedeviled so many winners in the past, things start getting out of hand.
They buy a home in Malibu, fancy cars, and a sailboat. With too much time on her hands, Sandy begins playing tennis and drinking with a handsome neighbor. Beverly takes a trip to Mexico with her boyfriend with disastrous results while her twin sister faces problems of her own. The family struggles to regain the values, the serenity, and the love they once enjoyed. The question is, will they be able to do it?
