Berlin Meredith began his collection of thoughts, quotes, poems and stories many years ago. After retiring from the Federal Government as a Veterans Benefits Counselor, he worked as a cashier at a local Big Bear Plus supermarket. While there, he began printing his "Thought of the Week" on strips of paper and giving them to each person who came through his check-out line. This was so well received that his many friends and customers encouraged him to put his collection of quotes in a book. This book contains many of his favorite quotes, thoughts, poems and stories. In addition, he has written several short stories and some of those stories are included in the book.
