Jeffrey D. Wilhelm is a professor of English education at Boise State University, where he also directs the Boise State Writing Project and serves as the in-service director for a national demonstration site project in content-area literacy. He previously taught middle and high school for fifteen years. A past winner of NCTE's promising-researcher award, and a current member of the editorial board for Voices from the Middle. In addition, he is a Heinemann Professional Development provider.
