Iris

A CONTEMPORARY DARK PARANORMAL VAMPIRE ROMANCE

The Blood Code Series begins here.

Vampires that actually exist, love stories that shouldn't happen but do, complex adult relationships, brothers who have had each other's backs for centuries, a wealthy human family who don't know what loyalty means, a lonely and brilliant scientist who hasn't discovered who she really is, villains who will stop at nothing, psychopaths who need to feed on pain, a horse chase in Wyoming, a wedding in Greece, dinner at a London private club, worlds that shouldn't exist, and a best friend who is not what you expected. IRIS is a contemporary dark paranormal vampire romance. Themes of power, family, love, and layers of secrets are explored, along with the choices made and their consequences. Nothing is easy.

A brilliant scientist on the run for her life.

An enigmatic vampire desperate for a scientific breakthrough.

A glance across a train station changes both their lives.

Dominic Louk¡s, a vampire of restraint and rare powers, moves through the modern world like a myth in a tailored suit; hunted, haunted, and yet always in control.

Until Iris.

A scientist with a keen mind and sharp instincts, Iris never expected her research to mark her as a target. But when brutal murders shatter her lonely life, she flees to New York City.

Her family's broken empire, the unknown secrets in her blood, and the resurgence of the vampires' ancient enemy begin to unravel centuries of peace, putting her at the center of a deadly reckoning that draws Dominic and Iris into each other's worlds, with something dangerously close to love.

But desire and love are never simple, and blood never lies, especially when it can bring either salvation or doom.

Set against the contrasting backdrops of Manhattan's concrete veins, Wyoming's wide-open prairies, London's aristocratic haunts, and Greece's sun-drenched cliffs, Blood Code, Book I is a slow-burning romance of love, power, loyalty, family, and the cost of survival in a world where the old ways never die.

Blood Conceals. Love Reveals.

Book I is Lessa Elden's debut, with Book II coming soon.

Content Warning: Contains mature themes, explicit sexual content, and violence. (18+).

Lessa crafts gritty, cinematic tension with themes of love, loyalty, power, and loss, blending realism and fantasy in an unassuming, unhurried style that explores what people conceal and what love reveals...with a first-blood-drop twist.
