Troy Monroe is an IT support tech with a life already coming apart. When he logs into a home-security app, he expects to see his brother's empty living room—not a stranger's house... and a crime unfolding on the screen.
He calls for help, but the story is impossible to prove. He can describe the crime, but he doesn't know the city, much less an address. The video feed goes dark. The app won't open. And the one person who could calm him down—Lauren—thinks he's spiraling.
Then Troy spots what no one else will believe: the footage has been altered. Someone with inside knowledge can delete sessions, splice timelines, and manufacture "proof" that nothing happened.
Troy follows the only trail he has—video from the security camera—in his search for the predator and the woman's whose life is at stake.
He finds he's targeted to be the next victim.
