Payment Methods

Booktopia supports the following payment methods:

Credit/Debit Card

Booktopia accepts Visa, Mastercard and American Express Credit and Debit Cards. Please note that we DO NOT accept prepaid Load&Go or Gift Cards as they aren’t compatible with our system.

PayPal

When you place an order with us PayPal will create a pre-authorization which reserves funds until we finalise payment. Sometimes this can look like two different amounts on your bank statement but rest assured we have only charged you once for your order.

You can confirm this by logging on to your PayPal account at https://www.paypal.com

PayPal Pay in 4

PayPal Pay in 4 is available to eligible PayPal account holders when you check out with PayPal. Availability may also depend on the product purchased, transaction type and amount.

Eligible orders over $30 and up to $2000 may be paid in 4 interest free instalments.

Afterpay

Afterpay is available for Australian orders. Choosing Afterpay will allow you to buy now and pay later! To place an order with Afterpay, you will need a few things:

• A Visa or MasterCard debit or credit card issued in Australia
• To be over 18 years of age
• A valid email address, mobile telephone number and Australian delivery address
• An order total of at least $1 worth of products from our website (excluding Gift Certificates)

Bank Transfer

You can pay using either of this option by selecting Other Payment Methods on the final page of checkout. You will be guided through the process on-screen.

Please be aware that your order will not be processed and no items will be shipped to you until we’ve received payment. If you need the books urgently please consider using one of the other options above.
