Andrus Mikiver was 22 years old when he decided, in hopes of easy money, t***o go from Peru as a drug mule to bring drugs***. However, it went as it has for many who have embarked on this path - he was caught at the airport and sentenced to nine years in prison. This book tells the story of Andrus's life in prison. But not only that. It is the story of the life of a boy who had been in trouble, who could be living right next to you. It also reveals the backgrounds of taking the criminal path, from which we all can learn, and gives the knowledge that if one truly wishes, healing is possible.

"The pavilion we were taken to was located in the basement, which meant there were no windows, only bleak concrete walls. Our cell was at the very end of the pavilion and was one larger room under the stairs. Later I found out that it was originally intended for imprisoning terrorists and housed 22 of Peru's most dangerous men.
/.../
Inside the cell, there was nothing, just two bunk beds. Nothing really means nothing - no bulb in the ceiling, no window, no fresh air, no toilet.

Strangely, the prison, which held people for drug possession, was full of drugs and other prohibited items. The drugs got there through the guards. At the time I was there, they used the soles of their security boots for this. One boot could compactly fit half a kilo of various substances.
