With another entry in my library of slightly shorter short stories at roughly 11,000 words, Got Wood explores a more magical means of fast transformation. This is another story of mine that addresses the reader as "you" in narration all the way to the end. Previously, the protagonist was the only person in danger, but this time that all changes, with four guys at once being targeted by an unforeseen threat.
A dare by a group of young men soon turns sour for them; unknown forces live in the forest nearby, widely considered old wives' tales, handy to scare children away from the woods.
