This book is a wild ride with Cody McCann, world famous reining horse trainer who came from a long line of reining horse breeders and trainers. The McCann horses are known for their athleticism and trainability. He leads an idyllic life on his ranch in Texas with his family and extended family of other horse trainers, assistants, and friends in the area. When Cody's world is turned upside down by tragedy, he is mired in the depths of despair, and he runs away to escape, thinking his life is over and there is nothing left to live for.
