A devoted teacher. A forbidden desire. A choice that could cost him everything.
As the Distinguished Poetry Master of the Royal Harem School, Haerek Chadan has dedicated his life to training the young men destined to entertain the lords and princes of the realm. Despite his loneliness, he has always followed the strict laws that forbid any intimacy between teachers and students. To break that rule is to risk severe punishment—or worse.
But when Chadan is tasked with preparing his most gifted student, Azno, for life as the consort of a powerful general, his carefully controlled world begins to crumble. The thought of losing Azno forever forces him to confront the desires he has long denied. Does he let Azno go, never revealing his true feelings? Or does he risk everything—including his life—for a love that is forbidden?
Forbidden Lessons is the fourth book in the Tales of the Thasali Harem series, a passionate and suspenseful tale of love, duty, and defiance.
