Falling Star

The stars returned. The old world did not. Ten years after a high-tech attack destroyed modern electronics and triggered the Blackout, Sweden is a land of farms, fortresses and uneasy alliances. Life has begun to stabilise. Was this the end, or only the beginning? When midwife Lena Svensson vanishes after following a light that should not exist into the forest, the question can no longer be ignored. Joakim "Jocke" Sorbin returns after captivity, war and a long road home, seeking peace. Protected by the Vastra Gotaland Federation, farmer Filip Stenvik prepares for new attacks. Maximilian Svensson wants a life of his own. At Carlsten Fortress, Gustaf Silverbane gathers his forces while Anna Ljungberg studies an enemy they barely understand. And the enemy may already be among them. Falling Star is the haunting second book in Lars Wilderang's Star Trilogy.
