Cadet Ethan Otto was supposed to protect the nation's most devastating blood weapon: his sister, Clara. But in a tragic accident, he failed to save her. When a mysterious note from Clara surfaces years later, Ethan starts to investigate the circumstances surrounding her death.
Ethan discovers a world of crime kingpins, vigilantes, and spies, all focused on his place of duty: The United States Codes Force Academy. With the fate of thousands hanging in the balance, Ethan finds himself chasing a powerful enemy and running from those he used to trust.
Set in New York City in the waning years of the nineteenth century, Ethan Otto is the first in a series of books by David A. Rickards.
