A corroded faucet. A kitchen floor. A job they call even.
Hank Petrof is supposed to replace valves in apartment 310a. Anette is supposed to pay the bill. Instead they trade heat for hardware and schedule dinner like it is another appointment they both intend to keep.
She learns he is not just the man with the wrench. He owns the company, the quiet house in the expensive neighborhood, and a fantasy he has never said out loud: he wants to watch her with other men.
First a party. Then strangers invited through their own front door. Then nights that multiply until Hank is mostly a witness and only sometimes a participant.
Desire still binds them. Jealousy, shame, and mismatched hunger start to pull them apart. They still share a roof. The next choice they make will decide whether the fantasy saves them—or ends them.
