Harvey understood that human beings were the root of most of these problems, yet he felt powerless to change them. His own life was already consumed by relentless turmoil, leaving him to wonder how anyone could fix themselves when the world itself was unraveling. After leaving Burlington College, he sought refuge in the quiet isolation of Vermont's Green Mountains.
