The ability to organize complex series of tasks to create new technologies, build new infrastructures, make new products, or update existing ones makes the human race dominant and superior to others. This ability is called "Project Management"!

This guideline is a cumulation of years of experience simplified in a few words and illustrations for new project managers who want to be successful in their career and enjoy one of the unique, special rewards of seeing and nurturing a project from start to finish, from an idea to a realization.
The book lays the basics of any standard project in simple, easy-to-implement steps, but also easily modified to suit any discipline, in any environment, and ultimately lead to a successful endeavor.
This compilation of knowledge in the project management field is a guideline that Fawzi wished to have when he started his career. Still, also, an answer to many questions that he received from new project managers lost in the wheels of schedule constraints and limited budget.

About the Author

Fawzi Belguet spent over twenty years doing just that! Ever since his graduation from the University of Science and Technology (USTHB) in Algeria in 1995, where he earned his BS degree in mechanical engineering, from his first steps in the professional world, Fawzi realized the necessity and importance of being in control to be able to perform most efficiently. Later on, moving to the US in 2000, he was hired as a design engineer in a Gas Distribution Utility Company while studying full-time for his two-year MS in fluid dynamics at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Gradually, he became an expert in natural gas distribution and district gas regulator designs. One of his projects (farm tap solution) was featured in AGA (American Gas Association) and NEGA (New England Gas Association). An opportunity to diversify and expand his field of expertise opened up with a pipeline company in the Philadelphia area, where he formally started his vocation as a project manager. He methodically learned how to navigate through the entire project lifecycle with great, proven success.
