An uplifting, feel-good story of two unlikely travel partners helping each other face separate challenges they could best solve together.

In May 1990, five years after he first arrived in Fairhaven, Wade heads home with Freya, Erik, and Mak after their junior year in college. The whole crew awaits them for another summer of adventure, family, and friendship. Wade has two important tasks to accomplish before the start of their senior year; one an intriguing college assignment, the other deeply personal.

After accepting an invitation from Freya's mother to help him with the assignment, Wade travels with Synnove to Illinois to meet a side of her family he never knew existed. The people and history of a place known as Downhome connect his two tasks in a way he couldn't possibly have imagined, bringing Wade and Freya's families forever closer together.

In Downhome, Book 2 of The Fairhaven Novels, Tiff Neros reminds us everyone faces internal struggle, people and history ultimately tie us together, and home is where the answers await.
