Deborah FitzGerald
In 2022, Deborah FitzGerald achieved a significant milestone by graduating with a Doctor of Arts from the University of Sydney. Her doctoral thesis, titled "In Search of Dorothea: A biography of Australian poet Dorothea Mackellar," reflects her deep engagement with Australian literature. During her doctorate, she received notable recognition, winning the 2021 Dame Leonie Kramer Prize in Australian Poetry and the 2019 Thomas Henry Coulson Scholarship.
