Book Title: CUTHTHROAT
Series: The Sharps Series - Book 2
Author: E.L. Beth
Lexi Hurston never had the luxury of dreaming. With both parents gone and a teenage brother depending on her, survival became her only priority. Desperate and cornered, she did the unthinkable—dressed as a nun and targeted a man known for dealing in high-end jewels. It was supposed to be a quick job. Get in, get out. No one gets hurt. But she didn't plan on Chad Sharps.
Chad Sharps was never one to be caught off guard. So when a nun fainted into his arms, he didn't flinch. What he didn'texpect was the jab of a needle, the loss of control, and waking up to find his father's multi-million dollar diamonds gone. Humiliated, paralyzed, and enraged, Chad vowed revenge. And he always gets what he wants.
Those haunting, mismatched eyes weren't easy to forget—and when Chad tracks Lexi down, he doesn't go for the police. He goes for blood. Using her younger brother as leverage, Chad forces Lexi into servitude. She will work off every stolen gem, every ounce of humiliation she caused. Under his rules. On his terms.
But the closer he keeps her, the more the lines blur between punishment and obsession. Chad Sharps doesn't forgive. And Lexi Hurston? She just might become the one thing he can't let go of.
