Robert and Sharmain's marriage is strained. Between financial turmoil, putting their dreams on hold, and struggling to conceive, it was only a matter of time before either one called it quits. But their lives change forever when Robert gets in a tragic accident that leaves him in a medically induced coma.
Sharmain vows to stay by his side, but while Robert is in a coma, he drifts into a parallel dimension in which he gets a second chance at life. The perfect life—he's rich, has all that he wants, and has found Madison, the love of his after-life.
In reality, Sharmain is struggling to pay the hospital bills, finding work to fight for her husband's life. As time passes and with Robert's chances of recovering dwindling, Sharmain is forced to make the fateful decision of whether or not to keep her comatose husband alive.
Pulling the plug means that Robert will lose everything, again. But keeping him alive, there is a possibility that he won't remember Sharmain, and if he does, will his heart belong to her? Will he make it to the altar to say 'I do' to Madison or will he rekindle his love with Sharmain? As his time ticks down in both dimensions, Robert's life, and his after-life in the coma-induced alternate reality, hangs in the balance.
Coma is a page-turning, second-chance-at-love story in which lovers push the boundaries of time and space to fight for love—and life.
