There are many things beyond mere human comprehension that should never be meddled with.
Nok is an average thirty-two-year-old Thai woman, who keeps her small apartment clean and her violent husband happy. He is prone to outbursts after their baby girl died in a road accident. To compensate for the loss, Nok buys a Luk Thep - a spirit doll and takes it to her local temple so the monk can perform Plook Sek on it - to invite a spirit to inhabit the doll to give it a soul. She prays for the angelic soul of her dead daughter.
However, we don't always get what we wish for...
