Liv Åhlgren would rather do almost anything than star in a Malte Eklund film. Unfortunately, no one else wants to hire her.
Her manager calls it a career-saving opportunity. Liv calls it spending an entire summer on a Swedish island with a pretentious director who has publicly disparaged her acting for years. They haven't been together since film school, and she intends to keep it that way.
Then she discovers they're sharing a house.
Malte wants her to quit. Liv would sooner destroy his shooting schedule. But somewhere between the arguments on set and the evenings alone, their familiar hostility gives way to an intimacy neither has quite managed to forget.
For Liv, being wanted by Malte was never the problem. Trusting him again is another matter. And with the press watching, a role to prove herself in, and a reputation already working against her, she has every reason to keep him at a distance.
He's making that exceptionally difficult.
