How long should a woman wait when her best friend's ex-husband becomes available?
Sometimes she doesn't have to wait that long at all.
Janet has lusted for her friend's husband since she was a bridesmaid in their wedding. When she runs into him after their divorce she decides to take a chance to get to know him a little better.
She touched his arm again, and the electric shock almost made him jump.
"Yeah, you understand. So I guess what I'm getting at is that if you ever think you're about to do something with a woman that's all wrong, give me a call. I'll stop by your place and we can talk. What do you think?"
He just blinked at her. She was right, it was a wild offer. Over the years, several women had propositioned him, even when he was married. If this was Janet's way of coming on to him, he wasn't sure he should accept the offer or not.
"Ok," was all he could manage to say. No other words came to him.
She wrote her number on a piece of scrap paper from her purse, and grinned real big.
"Great. Just think of me as a friend helping you keep out of trouble," she said.
