Some secrets are written in blood. Others are etched into the skin.
For Elara Vance, silence is a myth. Born with the "curse" of psychometry, her world is a cacophony of other people's ghosts. A single touch can pull her into a violent flood of memories, hurried whispers, hidden betrayals, and the cold static of the dead. She lives her life behind gloves, a prisoner to her own thin skin, until she is summoned to the crumbling, gothic gates of Blackwood Manor.
Her assignment: Document a massive collection of Victorian artifacts that hasn't been touched in forty years.
But Blackwood is more than a house; it is a living Archive of human misery, built on a foundation of "bleeding ink" and buried marrow. At the center of the mystery stands Julian Thorne, a man who has built a psychological fortress around his soul. He is a man who refuses to be touched, guarded by white silk gloves and a legacy of absolute silence.
As Elara and Julian navigate the "Architecture of a Lie," they find themselves descending into a labyrinth of ancestral sins. From the forbidden West Wing to a secret hidden beneath the roots of a black-rose garden, they uncover the truth of the "Missing Third" , a family member erased from history to anchor a terrifying psychic power.
But as the "Memory Fever" takes hold and modern-day "sanitizers" arrive to ensure the Thorne secrets stay buried, Elara and Julian must face a choice: succumb to the weight of a century of screams, or burn the record to the ground.
"Buried Secrets Beneath Your Touch" is a high-stakes, sensory-driven psychological suspense that explores the terrifying boundary between healing and prying. It is a journey of tactile resistance, shared trauma, and the radical, dangerous power of the truth.
Can Elara survive the conflagration of the past, or will she become the final record in a house that refuses to forget?
Experience the full, bone-chilling gist of Blackwood's final days. Discover what happens when the skin finally stops screaming and begins to speak.
