With the breakdown of the institution of marriage in our society, more women are finding themselves without a permanent partner and bringing up a child more or less on their own. According to a Gallup poll taken in the year 2020, about one in eight women aged 18 to 60 worldwide (i.e. 13%) are unmarried and have children younger than 15 in their household. It is a tough situation to be in. However, women in such a position can also discover or rediscover their spiritual relationship to a loving God - with or without having had a Christian upbringing themselves. Their wish may be to develop their own faith and, in doing so, provide a solid spiritual basis for their child.
This book is a summary of my own experiences when bringing up a child outside of a marriage relationship. It is my wish to be able to support other women in a similar situation and to provide hope that their children may also grow up in faith and love and develop the God-given abilities that are within them.

In the situation I found myself in, my faith in God was developed by reading the bible and putting its principles into practice. It has been a long journey, sometimes leaping into the unknown, but God has provided for my every need.
This book will appeal to women around the world in a similar situation. It will encourage you to develop your faith in God and help you and your child to build a loving, trusting relationship with Him.
