Bridge : Its Principles and Rules of Play by J.B. Elwell with illustrative hands and the club code of bridge laws is an old gem. It was first published in 1906. Some minor rules of bridge might have changed since then, but the fundamentals of bridge are still intact and fully explained in this book.
