Best friends from an early age, Sam and Hunter were inseparable. Where one was, you would find the other. After Hunter got accepted into his dream college in California on a surfing scholarship, what they believed was forever, changed. Hunter couldn't make himself say goodbye to the person who held his heart so he did the only thing he could think of to help them both. He left without saying goodbye crashing Sam's world to pieces. After ten years, just when her life starts looking up for her, a tragedy hits bringing Hunter back to town where Sam is forced to reopen old, painful wounds she had buried deep over the years. She had vowed never to but with the pain from the past comes a reminder of love and broken promises. After a few tense encounters, it's clear as day Sam is afraid to get hurt again plunging her back to the darkness she only narrowly crawled out of, and Hunter simply wants a second chance to make things right between them and fix what he broke.
