A modern romantic Western set in Texas in a godforsaken, lawless land. The lives of both main characters, Ryan and Faith, are in disarray because of decisions made to cheat fate. Working as a head herdsman, he is subjected to the orders of an unscrupulous boss. Having been objectified, Faith is a woman fleeing from a violent husband.
