About the Author

Leo Timmers was born in 1970, in Belgium. At the age of 12 he started to draw comics. Trained in Graphic Design, he illustrates for Belgian magazines and papers as well as writing and illustrating picture books. His picture book Monkey on the Run was a New York Times / New York Public Library Best Illustrated Book 2019. Translated by Karena Kelly.
