Add Aunt Opal's crazy driving (and bad sense of direction), and somehow they all end up at an abandoned amusement park, eating scat sandwhiches. That's gotta be worth some thrill points…

Megan McDonald is the author of the bestselling Judy Moody series as well as a spin-off series about Judy's brother, Stink. She lives in California, USA.

About the illustrator

Peter H. Reynolds is an author/illustrator and director of his own production company, which creates innovative, animated, award-winning materials for the educational market-place. He was born in Canada to a very British family and spent his childhood sketching and doodling. When pulled aside for not paying attention in class, his year seven maths teacher realised that Peter has a gift that needed to be encouraged and set Peter on a path that involves today making educational software through his company FableVision and writing and illustrating children’s books. Peter’s goal is to reach those children who may have found themselves off the path and to help them reach their potential, just like his teaher had done for him. He is well known as the illustrator of the "Judy Moody" books and his own books "Ish", "The Dot", "So Few of Me", and "The North Star".
