Nothing is what it seems in the battle to keep a deadly weapon of annihilation away from countless criminal elements who want to unleash it and wipe out the galaxy. Too bad some of these criminal elements are hiding right inside the Confederate Reserve Wing.
Sheriff Mace Davenport and his friends get scattered across known space fighting for their lives and battling deadly alien creatures for the fate of the world. The most dangerous enemies are their own people and they're all after Davenport's crew. The problem just got a whole lot more complicated when the crew discovers that the weapon consists of not just one catastrophic element but three of them.
