About the Authors

Mum A is the author of several novels. They all hurt more than giving birth.

Mum B has worked in offices for years. Some of them have been like cocktail parties (without alcohol), others have been Dickensian workhouses. All of them were great training for the politics involved in raising two children..

Mum C has worked for a national electronics magazine and, astonishingly enough, for a motor biking magazine, though she hasn’t actually been on any kind of bike since she was nine years old. She is currently in the throes of completing a PhD in English Literature.
