Ancestor is the quarterly journal of The Genealogical Society of Victoria. The Society's award winning journal is published quarterly; March, June, September & December. As well as feature articles related to family history and of historical interest there are regular features in each edition including updates and news on the society. Details and dates of our extensive educational presentations, research corner and additions to our library are listed. The journal reports on various web links and we give news and items of interest from groups and Member Societies associated with the GSV.
