Watching the current victim, Scott realized why it had earned its alternate nickname.
The trapped figure resembled a living statue, frozen mid-motion. The man had not even registered surprise — he was captured while running, half-turned backward. His pursuer had kept enough distance to avoid being caught, then fired after the victim fell into the trap.
