Dest has been dreaming about dying in a fire for weeks, and a boy screaming at her, blaming her for everything. Her shrink kept insisting that it was related to her parents' divorce and her own guilt around that. She just wanted to put the dream behind her and focus on starting anew at her new school, with her new cheer squad.
But when her new classmates all revealed that they were having not just similar dreams, but the same dream, they quickly figure out that something more is going on. That a past life was trying to destroy the lives that they had made in the present.
