In this handbook of inspiration, Fr. Thomas Santa, CSsR provides reflections and prayers to help fill some of the spiritual needs of those who suffer with the affliction of scrupulosity. While each person is different, there are some shared experiences and feelings common to the affliction, some of which can create obstacles to prayer. By identifying these obstacles and presenting new perspectives, the author hopes to provide encouragement when and where it's most needed.
This work is also meant to offer guidance to those who, when it comes to prayer, simply, do not know what to say or do. Sometimes all that's needed is a prayer starter—a thought, a word, an experience. It is hoped that you will find that starter within these pages.
